Si le gustan las tiras NeoPixel, le encantarán estos NeoPixels difusos de 8mm para montaje through-hole. Toda la ventaja de controlar cientos de LEDs con un solo pin, en un formato compatible con protoboard. Cada LED se ve igual que un LED RGB clásico through-hole de 8mm con 4 patas, pero en lugar de solo rojo/verde/azul tiene un pequeño chip interno que puede controlar el LED con PWM de alta velocidad para color de 24 bits. 

Aliméntelos con 5V y encadénelos, conectando el pin Data-Out de uno al Data-in del anterior en la cadena. Si usa un Arduino, puede controlar estos LEDs con nuestra excelente biblioteca Neopixel para Arduino. Tome en cuenta que estos usan formato "RGB" en lugar del formato "GRB" de los LEDs tamaño 5050 a los que está acostumbrado. Revise el código de ejemplo de NeoPixel para ver cómo intercambiar los colores automáticamente. 

TOME EN CUENTA TAMBIÉN QUE ADAFRUIT RECOMIENDA AGREGAR UNA RESISTENCIA DE 300 - 500 ohm ANTES DEL PRIMER "DATA IN".  CONSULTE LA GUÍA DE BUENAS PRÁCTICAS EN LA ADAFRUIT NEOPIXEL UBERGUIDE.

Estos funcionan a 800KHz. Aún no tenemos una hoja de datos de los LEDs, vea las fotos de arriba para la distribución de pines.

If you like NeoPixel strips you'll luv these 8mm diffused through-hole NeoPixels. All the single-pin-controlling-hundreds-of-LEDs goodness in a breadboard friendly format. Each LED looks just like your classic through-hole 8mm RGB LED with 4 legs, but instead of just red/green/blue there's a little chip inside that can control the LED with high speed PWM for 24-bit color. 

Power them with 5V and chain them together, tying the Data-Out pin of one to the Data-in of the previous one in the chain. If you're using an Arduino, you can control these LEDs with our wonderfully-written Neopixel library for Arduino. Note that these are "RGB" instead of "GRB" format used in the 5050-sized LEDs you are so used to. Check in the NeoPixel example code for how to swap the colors automagically. 

ALSO NOTE THAT ADAFRUIT RECOMMENDS THAT A 300 - 500 ohm RESISTOR BE ADDED BEFORE THE FIRST "DATA IN".  PLEASE REFER TO THE BEST PRACTICES GUIDE IN THE ADAFRUIT NEOPIXEL UBERGUIDE.

These are running at 800KHz. We don't have a datasheet for the LEDs themselves yet, see the photos above for the pinouts.
