El módulo Bluetooth HC-05 es un módulo Bluetooth 2.0 (clásico) que soporta los modos MASTER y SLAVE. Para conectar dos Arduinos, uno de los lados debe ser el MASTER. Para conectar una PC, teléfono o tablet a un Arduino por Bluetooth, el módulo HC-06 es mucho más sencillo de operar.

The HC-05 Bluetooth module is a Bluetooth 2.0 (classic) module that support both MASTER and SLAVE modes. To connect two arduinos then one side be the MASTER. To connect a PC, telephone or tablet to an Arduino via Bluetooth then the HC-06 module is far simpler to operate.
