Monitor the energy consumption in your home or business with the Energy Monitor Shield for Arduino. The Energy Monitor Shield is based on the Open Energy Monitor Project and connects up to four Current Transformers (CTs) to any Arduino compatible board. The shield outputs AC current data to arduino analog pins A1, A2, A3, y A4 (See photo below).
The recommended configuration is to use at least two Current Transformers, one for each phase. Simple plug-in the Current Transformers into the shield, connect the clamps around your primary AC lines and use the EmonLib library to read the current.
