Anderson quick connectors are designed for low voltage and high current DC connections. Powerpole connectors are physically and electrically hermaphroditic, thus avoiding the need to worry about which end is the plug and which the socket, or which end has the correct polarity. Just use two connectors for both sides of the connection! This type of connector is used in many high amperage commercial products such as electric scooters, solar power installationss, cars and battery backups. 

These connectors are designed for up to 50A of current.
